About NAEM

Our practice currently includes 9 board-certified neurologists with a broad range of specializations.

Our Sleep Disorders Center is the first in the state accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the only such center in the region to evaluate children under the age of 5. Dr. James W. Sears, a diplomate of sleep medicine is director of our sleep disorder center. He and Dr. Branimir Brozman are both board-certified sleep specialists.

Our EEG Laboratory is the first in the country to be accredited by the lab accreditation board of ABRET (American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists.

We are affiliated with EMMC, St. Joseph Hospital, and run clinics at Houlton Regional Hospital, Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth, and Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield.
